Cookie Policy
ProvenAudience uses cookies sparingly — only what is needed to keep you signed in and to stop automated abuse. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
1.What we use, and why
- Essential session & authentication cookies. When you sign in, our authentication layer (Better Auth) sets a secure session cookie so that you stay logged in and your requests are recognised. Without it, the signed-in app cannot function. These are first-party and strictly necessary.
- Anti-abuse captcha (Cloudflare Turnstile). On sign-up, sign-in and password-reset we may use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots. Turnstile may set cookies or read limited device signals for the sole purpose of fraud and abuse prevention. It is privacy-preserving by design and is not an advertising product.
- Security & load balancing. Our infrastructure and CDN may set essential cookies needed to route requests and protect the service.
2.What we do not use
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, data brokers, or behavioural-advertising profiles. We do not sell data gathered through cookies. Our public marketing and blog pages are static and do not require cookies to read.
3.Managing cookies
Because the cookies we set are strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for (a secure, signed-in account) and to keep that service safe from abuse, they do not require consent under most cookie laws. You can still clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but if you block our essential cookies you will not be able to sign in or use the signed-in application.
4.More information
Cookies sit alongside the wider data practices described in our Privacy Policy. Questions: [email protected].
